A shaft from the rear runs under the left axle and ends near the joint between the clutch housing and rear frame. Chain runs under tractor and fills that notch where the 1/4" NPT drain plug is located on the 400 and others.

The shaft and bearing pictured below is from a wobble drive IH mower. The front shaft and bearings in the second picture pierce the front Fast Hitch crossmember.

Don't ask what I am going to do with it. I just figured that if I build it, the ideas will come. I now have power out the back, both sides, and the front.

Yep, I am retired but not sick nor tired.

What do you think about blowing snow, picking cotton, and spreading manure all at the same time?

Don't steal my idea. You heard it here first.

Blowin' snow and spreading manure at the same time actually sounds feasable... pickin' cotton, I don't know about that

I think it was a 130 or 1300. It had the rear PTO spline for running a tag-a-long tedder.

Dangerous? I guess you would never get on a motorcycle. You should. With only two wheels, they are twice as safe as a car. Get rid of those training wheels. Safety, and self preservation, is always an operator's responsibility.

This tractor will eventually run a number of ice/salt ice cream freezers, soda fountain, ice crusher. It has an air compressor and 120V generator. It will be safe enough to take out into the public. The compressed air system is primarily designed for fail/safe considerations and overall control.

While I wouldn't want kids climbing all over the tractor, they probably will be able to without injury to themselves or others.

This is a long term project and will not be rushed.

Sorry...the dangerous comment was tongue in cheek because of the four drives. I don't actually consider it dangerous.

I'm thinking this is at least the second "multi-PTO" tractor you have posted, isn't it? How long before we get a scoop of ice cream? We have Amish here at a local show that run an ice cream operation and it is one of the first places to stop on a hot August day. Very popular attraction.

No need to apologize.

Last summer I was working on my F-400. It has PTOs all over but are different than my W-400. There are something like 18 V-belts on it. Of all the attachments, nothing is a copy between the two 400s.

This is why I like tractors. Plenty of opportunities to get creative. I've got plans to extract power on yet another two '50's IH large tractors.

The Ohio Amish are the current MFG's for the large 20 quart freezers. $1400 dollars each through a dealer. I'd like to find the company that builds them. Might be cheaper.

There is no deadline but I would like to be ready by next summer.

Check out this eBay auction below. My rig will be totally different. I'll keep posting pictures.

Well, I'll keep watching for the pictures AND for my invitation to get in line for a couple scoops. Interesting project.

That was on the F-400 and completed last year.

It's not necessary, or even possible, on a W-400.
