MW HAND CLUTCH

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME THE DIFFRENCE IN A SUPER M AND A SUPER H HAND CLUTCH AND HOW TO TELL THEM APART? ALSO IF THE CLUTCH IS FOR A H NOT A SUPER H WILL IT WORK

The hand clutch is an aftermarket item not made by IH. The Super M clutch will be physically bigger than the Super H clutch. They will not interchange. The Super H would probably have disc brakes and the reglar H would have drum brakes so those would not interchange either.

The M hand clutch with have approximately 11" clutch discs. The H will be around 8" in diameter. The standard H hand clutch takes 4 fiber discs and will have 3 steel plates. An M clutch has only 3 fiber plates. The SH will differ from the standard H because of the Super having disc brakes. The clutch housing is different but on the left side (the clutch side) it will have been converted to a band brake.
