Woods L59 on Cub LoBoy

I've got an L59 mower on an A that I would like to put on a Cub LoBoy with a fast hitch. Anybody have this setup? If so would you be willing to take some measurements and get some info for me? I would come look at yours if its not too far for me. I think I only need about 4 brackets that would be easy to make if I had some measurements.
Email is open, thanks in advance

Hi Bob, pretty sure that is the setup in my shop right now. It's a 1957 Loboy with a woods mower which my memory tells me I decided was the L59. There was a fast hitch on it but it was sold prior to my getting the tractor. I have a fast hitch sitting on a skid out back waiting to be put on. I took the mower off the tractor two days ago in prep to split her and replace some bearings and the rear main so not a lot left to photograph. All the mower brackets I left on the tractor if that helps. I'll shoot some pics or you are welcome to come look at it.

Photo attached is the only one I have of the brackets back by the axle housing.

The brackets and pulley set up for the cub are entirely different than the A. It's gonna take quite a bit of fabrication work and a new pulley for the PTO shaft on the cub to get things to work correctly. You'll need a new belt too, as the belt length is different.

Right. I will need a new pulley with correct spline for the Cub PTO shaft. 2 new mounting brackets that bolt down by the final drives, and 1 or maybe 2 brackets that hold the idler pulleys and a new belt. I do fab/machine work for a living and have access to about any metal working tools I need, so thats not really a problem.

Thanks, Dave. I might want to come look at it. I assume you're in Michigan? I'm in NW Ohio. How can I get ahold of you?

You can't just replace the blades on a mower if you want to reverse the rotation. The threads on the spindle bolts of the L (left hand mowers) are left hand. On the R mowers the threads are right hand. this is to make the bolts tend to tighten under load and keep the bolts from unscrewing and the blades coming off. And..they will unscrew and come off if the threads are wrong!!! Anyhow, the belt setup on the cub can be arranged to accomodate either a left hand or right hand rotation mower.
