Ive got 8 tractors and no Internationals cept my redone 15-30 I found in the woods yrs ago.[its a McDeering aint it?]Today I bought a 1933 ton and a half Binder cab and nose with fenders.No frame,eng,or front-rear axels.Gonna build a frame and use a ford wishbone front axel .Thinking of doing sompin differant and use an old Buick straight 8.Will post pics if anyone interested.Ideas welcome! By all means, do it.

My preference would be a diesel. I still own my '32 Ford PU with Mercedes-Benz 220D and '47 IH KB-5 with 4-53 Detroit Diesel.

If you use the Buick, I suppose you could call it a "LoadMaster". That has historical elements of Buick and IH trucks.

That 8 was as smooth as a flat land boulder. it was also not powerful. I do like cross breeding. The Big GMC V6 would make my day. Jim

I have to agree with you them old big bore V-6s sure did have the power/torque but boy oh boy did they like the fuel also. I have 2 and a half of them engines here on the place. One is in an old school bus and the other in a old GMC 1.5 ton truck.

Forgot about the school busses. Those things general go fairly cheap compared to a farm truck in similar running condition.

Never seen a V-12 but I do have a Ford 534 V-8 and a couple IH 600 plus V-8s here on the place

I really like the "LoadMaster" idea.I did see a hotrod pickumup with a v-12 detroit in it though.How bout a DT-466?I will post all the pieces when I get it all home.Then a bunch of during and some finished pictures.Probably a project like this is never"finished". Hoss

I can fix you up with a 12V-71with 425 hp. O hours on in-chassis rebuild. It's still installed in a large Joy air compressor. And we are not that far apart. I'm near Lowell, MA, 1/2 mile from I-495.

I've got an IH bd240 with a three on the tree ill sell cheap its out of a s110 pickup have all steering parts and axels too
