What is the # of the color for the wheels-(cream color) on a # 8 plow and also is there a # for Harvester blue ? Will Superchief bottoms bolt on to a # 8 plow beam ? Thanks DTK.

all IH plow bottoms have the same bolt pattern so they will bolt right up. just make sure they are the right size, 12, 14 or 16". i'd also like to switch to super chief bottoms. the dupont paint codes are: IH red 7410 D,IH blue 24160, IH white 24440. i just bought my white in spray cans from tractor supply

Yes, the bolt patterns on the beams are the same.

You can install WIDER cut bottoms on a narrower plow, but not the other way around. That is a 16" bottom will work just fine on a 14" frame.

In reality the only difference between a 16" and a 14" Super Chief is the length of the share. IH shows the same part numbers for the frog, shin, and moldboard for both bottoms.

I have super chief 1 inch bottoms on my #8 plow. Works well I use almond for the wheels. Ford blue for the blue part Bernie Steffen

I met an old guy (about my age) at a NAPA store who had the old paint vs new paint numbers. Their NAPA #53 3736A is a dead on match for old Harvester Blue. The IH archives has lost the old Harvester Cream number, but the "IH White" number #935 is a very close match. This is, I believe, the same cream color on the grills of 560, 460, 350, 450, etc.

I don't want to get in any debate with others on here, but Ford blue is a slightly different shade, but will do...it's your plow and you are the one who needs to be happy with it.
