2 local IH (excuuuuse me Case-IH) parts departments aren"t positive which gasket to order for my 200 Touch Control Aux Valve that sends 2 way hydraulic power to the cylinder that lifts the 2 point hitch

Also the rubber cover is like $85, the top oring is $ 20, rediculous prices !

Anyone know the correct part number ? Alternatives for the rubber cover & oring ?

I had the complete touch control unit, pump and all the fast hitch hydraulics including the auxillary control valve totally rebuilt this spring by the CaseIH dealership in Monett, Missouri. I've looked over the components that they used on their statement and all the o-rings were between $0.40 and $3.04. I don't have a clue where a $20.00 o-ring would be needed. The control valve stem boot on the top of the valve I purchased from Ron at Pilot Knob Restorations for $26.00 and shipping along with some other restoration items. They can be contacted at 815-777-0826 if you decide to go that route. I know you are talking about a Farmall 200 and I'm noting that my tractor was a Super C F/H 1953 model from the factory and I believe they have identical fast hitches. If you want to call the Case IH dealership in Monett they are Fritz Implement at 1-866-525-2500 (toll free) and George in parts who has been with the dealership for almost ever will probably be able to tell you what part you need and I believe they would provide it though the mail. They have a great reputation in this area as the ultimate best in the old Farmall hydraulics systems and I'm sure George will know what you are needing along with the part number. I hope this helps, Hal.

The rubber cover prices are high, but at least you can still get it. A LOT of parts are that way. Not a lot of demand, so the price goes up until they are eventually discontinued. Orings can be had about anywhere for much less money. As for the correct parts, you need a parts manual. I do not rely on the CaseIH people to look up numbers, I give the number to them and they tell me whether or not it is available. Easy for me, faster for them, usually by telephone. You can also find the correct number in the parts section of www.caseih.com.
