22-36 Painting Project

1930 McCormick-Deering 22-36
I have the main frame, wheels, axle, etc. ready to sandblast and paint.
I have identified a painter.
He uses a preferred paint.
DuPont Imron.
Can somebody give me the codes for both the red and the blue-gray paint in Imron?
Thanks,
Tom

I called Dupont in PA at 1-800-338-7668 for paint codes and they gave me the gray prior to 1934 to be 55803 and from 1935 its DS169. They have a charcoal gray 27625. Their red code is RS573. Hope this helps, Hal

I have used PPG's paint code 71310 and it is suppose to be the match for Dupont's 96766. I used the PPG's Omni on this Troy Bilt tiller back in 2006. I think you would be satisfied
with Dupont's red. I would either paint it a dark gray or the charcoal. It's probably going to look better than new when its finished. Hal
PS: It's too bad there's no pictures of this tractor when they were built.
