I was at the Wisconsin Farm Technology days today near River Falls, WI. They have a real good variety of old tractors on display in their heritige equipment area, even some tractors I had never heard of before. They even had a MM UDLX on display that you couldn't touch. I took four of my Farmalls there on display. However, looking at the modern farm equipment, it amazes me how big and complex these machines are. If you look at the workings of a new combine, the side looks like a bowl of spagetti with all the hydraulic lines running everywhere. There was also some pieces of equipment that I had no idea what they did. The GPS autosteer thing is another amazing thing. It is like I heard on the radio the other day about some car that doesn't have a dipstick to check the oil anymore. When your oil level is low the company sends you and e-mail. I must be getting old.
