Rough running A

The ole' A started running rough yesterday. I had to pull the choke out quite a bit to keep it running to get it back to the barn. Any ideas where to start?

Sounds like the engine is starving for gas. You need to check the gas flow from the tank to the carburetor. If there's just a trickle you have blockage in the tank or the gas line. If there's a full stream of gas from the gas line you need to remove that fitting from the carburetor and look for a clogged screen. If that screen is clean your carburetor probably needs a good soaking in carb cleaner and all jets blown out with air pressure. Check the float height to make sure it's set high enough.
