1066 Three Pont Hitch Cycleing

1066 Three point hitch cycles down and recovers up with heavy load. Acts like pressure is bleeding away and then the draft control (maybe??) automatically lifts it back to where started. Where do I start?

possible leak in the lift cylinder packing, or a leaky check valve. There must be a reason for it to drop. Jim

If you remove the bracket for the three point upper link you can see the lift cylinder. If the cylinder is the problem you will see oil dripping out the end. You can also look for any other leaks at the same time.

Thanks, It has a cab and presently the seat is out. Is there anything to see from the top?
