Final design on fasthitch to quickhitch set-up

Here is the final set-up I'm using so I can use both fasthitch and quickhitch implements. The 1-1/8" hitch pins are tempered so I don't have to use the long bar through both sides. PTO implements will work fine now. I also added some 1/2" plates to take almost all the side play out of the hitch for cultivating. I cultivated 50 acres of beans and everything worked good.

Very professional fabrication.
I would avoid som skinned swear words and use an angle grinder to round some of the flanges!

I have about the same setup on my 560D farmall only I am using a Kverniland quick hitch. The quick hitch is its original light green paint and will remain that color as will the John Deere quick hitch that is mounted on our "41 M remain John Deere green. The colors seem to get along just fine. By the Way the "41 M is the one that has the belt-driven hyd. pump from a 95 John Deere combine that powers the Char-lynne power steering and provides 2-way live hyd. for the rest of the tractor. Your setup looks just fine to me. No need to change any colors! Use it and enjoy! Nice job! Armand
 
Nice to see somebody get creative and adaptive. Hitches are a good place to start. Thanks for the topic and pictures.

Should I get a quick hitch? Nah, I'll just keep putting points on the implements I acquire or build.

Been thinking about Fast Hitch sockets for the front of my Dodge/Cummins one ton.
 
Nice job. I would make one suggestion. Replace the hair pin clips with a bolt or other solid fastner as they can easily come off in stalks, weeds, and etc. I've had that happen and is not a pretty sight.
 
I use the quick hitch with the fast hitch tongs.
I had to weld heavy plate brackets on the bottom of the quick hitch. The holes on the welded brackets are 5 inches on center from the original holes so I can get the 3 pt equipment off the ground.
