QUIC COUPLERS

Hello,
In need of a little info ,
the loader on my Ih454 has what i would call
quick couplers . Look like the couplers on air hoses. I recently replace both hoses on control
valve. It has the couplers on the valve to hook up the loader . Is there an o ring that can be replaced as mine leaks real bad ???????
Or do i need a new coupler??
thanks for any insight on this I havent been
able to look at it since I parked it after it
leaked out.

Look at your quick disconnects closely, are they beat up/clean, is it possible to even disassemble the connects to replace an O-ring. The quick connects on an air hose only needs to handle less than 150 psi. An hydraulic quick disconnect needs to handle 2000 psi. So in my opinion any wear on the quick connect leads to leakage. I would buy new ones.

Yes, there is an o-ring that can be replaced in the female. If it is still leaking with a new o-ring, then you may have a damaged male coupler.
