setting injector pump timing

finally got the time today to set timing on injector pump. can someone give me a step by step on how to go about this? or maybe a manual online the i can print off? thanks guys

Shut off the fuel at the tank. Turn engine until the timing pointer on the front cover aligns with TDC. Remove the timing cover on the side of the pump. You will see the edges of two disks Each should have a scribe mark about in the middle of the window. If you do not see a mark on the front one rotate the engine one full turn and look again. With the marks aligned, where ever the pointer is on the front pulley is your timing setting.

Just to make things a little more interesting, there are two different specs for timing.

For pumps IH numbers 2783456R91 or 321194R91 or749513C91 or RoosaMaster number DBGFC-629-1AE use 3 degrees BTDC.

For pumps with IH numbers 321194R91 or 749513C91 or RoosaMaster number DBGFC-629-27AE-54AE use TDC.

Notice that two IH numbers are listed for both settings. Take your pick?
 
If you have the IH midget nozzle go with tdc or one degree btdc. If you have bosch ade use 3 degrees btdc. You can tell which nozzle you have by looking at the nozzle. IH midget has a 9/16 or 5/8th hex fitting and Bosch has 3/4. Nuts on line are 3/4th on both. Bosch nozzles open at higher pressure there fore the difference in timing.

thanks! seems like i have a clogged line or injectors on # 6 doesnt sound like its spray any fuel. when i cracked the line while running the fuel just kinda runs out and the other spray pretty good
