Good morning, Steering gear box adjusted all the way and still real loose. What are the options, I know parts are hard to find. What do you guys do. Thanks, Jim. PS, non power steering.

I for one do not have a good answer for ya here that set up has been a problem for day one . I am surprised that one of the many after market companys has not set out to make them . With all that need rebuilt and yes parts are really getting hard and expensive to come by for them. Last one i worked on was on a 300 U with out P/S and the guy came off a trailer wrong and broke one tooth off and we looked and looked for a whole box or just the singal shaft with no luck. So we gambled and welded up the missing tooth and had it machined back into shape and crossed our fingers . Sofar it is holding and that was 13-14 years ago . As to your problem it would be one of them deals that ya would have to look at everything to see just where ya have all the slop .

All the slop is in steering box. One day it will break and I will need to get it fixed. Thank, Jim
