M clutch fibers around hyd pump

Hydraulic oil was coming out of the drip hole under
the clutch, so I pulled the pump to change the seal.
Looks like theres about two handfuls of clutch
material up in there. Figure it contributed to that
seal going out. Clutch does not slip. Should I
plan on splitting the tractor this winter or what?

are you sure the fibers are from the clutch and not mice? for some reason the lil buggers love to pack the housings with all sorts of stuff. pink insulation is a real favorite.

You can remove the clutch on an M without splitting the tractor. Half the work is removing the belly pump so if you already have that out you may want to remove the clutch and have a look at it.
