Best way to sell?

Opinions sought on best way to reach the most productive and largest audience when selling. Ebay? auction? What about the consignment auction at Red Power?? I have a tractor that I think would have some appeal to serious collectors and as we all know, when selling it's all about reaching the right buyer at the right time
 
If it is really a classic or antique, this site works. I've listed a couple on e-bay and got over 1000 viewers. Craigslist could surprise you as well.
 
Well i think the bes if it"s somethin good. Your best way would be the red power magizine. I just sold my 79 cub in there the second person to call and the first on to some look at it. Well it found a new home.
 
Mayor, Yesterdays tractor, Craigelist, will get alot it of coverage. Ebay will cost money. But if you can write a buy now add and include your phone # for questions. Take names and # of all owe call and get back to them after ebay add runs out. I no alot of deals that have been made outside ebay. oldiron29
 
The best way is to advertise as far and wide as you possibly can, without violating the rules of the sites you're advertising on, or conflicting with the exclusivity of any site you advertise on.

If you put it on Ebay, you should NOT put it on any other site. Ebay is an auction, and you have entered an agreement to sell to the highest bidder that meets your reserve. When you also advertise it on other classified sites simultaneously, you are violating that agreement (that's dishonest), and quite possibly shooting yourself in the foot. Bidding often goes nuts on Ebay, and your item can end up going for way more than you wanted for it. If you already sold it out from under the auction, you lost out on a lot of money.

IMHO you should be permanently banned from Ebay for doing that, but people rarely get called on it. You can cancel the auction for several lame reasons.
