Hood weather stripping

No weather stripping.

If you've seen one with weather stripping, it was a custom add-on that is not correct for the tractor.

If you want to add it, you're on your own because we have no idea what that person used. You would have to find that person again and ask them.

Best thing to use for the for the "stripping" that goes between the hood and gas tank on one end and the front and the hood on the other is a webbing or strqppingof woven straping, or if you cant find any , it is about 3/4 inch wide , get a load binding strapping and cut it up , can get some as low as $2.00, they are cheap binders , sometimes sold by harbor Freight

The thickness of aything you add is going to make the hood harder to fit. The hood rib may not reach over the seam of the fuel tank. The hood rib may no longer line up with the rib on the grill. If your stripping is very thin, it may not be a problem.

I don't know about a C, but there is a stripping along the front of my SH gas tank for the hood to rest on. It is not very think, however. Looks a lot like strapping tape, but is very old and appears original.
