450 Head On A M

What all will I need that is different than what I currently have, to put my newly acquired 450 head on my 41'M? Valve cover and what else?

Assuming it is a complete head, you will need the bolts, and a new head gasket. Use a 450 gasket. Jim

Yeah, I know I will need a new head gasket. So you are saying that my M head bolts will not work? I assume they are too short? Will my M rocker assembly work, or will I need to get that also?

They should be the same in all critical measurements. The chamber size, and the valve size might be different, but they should bolt on directly with old hardware. Jim
