any info/advice on BN forklift

I"m looking at buying a farmall BN with the forklift I believe made by John"s. I don"t know anything about these forklifts but I think it would be very useful as well as a unique show tractor. Is it still possible to get parts for these? I assume that if I can"t get parts I can have them made. Is it worth putting the time into this tractor? Motor is stuck so I would probably rebuild and restore the tractor. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

I don't know anything about the forklift part, but the BN part should be easy to get parts for. IH didn't make a lot of BN's (something like 15,000 of them), but almost all the parts you are likely to need are common to A's, B's & BN's.
The collective total of those made is in the hundreds of thousands. So parts are usually readily available.

I assume the tractor is reversed.it would be handy as a 'shopmule',or an unusual showpiece.buy it ,fix it,use/enjoy it.please dont 'destroy' it,theyre kinda rare.pictures?
