H wiring question

Ok ,i've been looking at the diagrams and cant seem to figure out the push button starter button.My tractor pretty much came in a bunch of boxes,dont really know what i have for a electrical syatem.It does have a distributor.The starter button came with to cables,one with a battery post connection and the other with a ground connection.The side with the battery post connection also has a 10 gauge wire on its side.These are all about 3' long.It also came with a cable that is 2' long ,battery post connection on one end and a ground connection on the other.

The battery cable end goes to the negative battery terminal. The "ground" connection goes to the starter. The push button switch is your starter solenoid.

The 10 gauge wire from the switch goes to the ammeter. It feeds the ignition and is thhe route for power heading back to the battery.

The H owners manual has a fair wiring diagram.
