I have a 1940"s. Farmall M. I just replaced the gen and VR. I
have gone threw the book to trouble shoot but still can"t get a
charge any addvice. I have connected the gen and bat on
the VR. And have jumper wired the field term. To the fram

Connections are next. The amp meter might be broken inside as well.
Using a test light be sure of the connection to power at the bat terminal of the VR.
Next be sure the VR and GEN are both grounded to bare metal.
Next follow john T charging system chart to make it Go. Jim
