Marvel schebler tsx 952 problem

I have a IH 210 windrower with a c 153 engine and the power adjustment solenoid boke off. I am looking for a replacement power adjustment needle. Does anyone know who sells a manual power adjustment needle for the TSX 952? The windrower runs with a plug, but it runs really rich.

Most Marvel Schebler carburetors with electric shut off contain the main jet right in the shutoff assembly itself so you cannot replace with a mechanical needle and that would be why it runs very rich with just a plug in it as it has no main jet now. I could be wrong on this one, wouldn't be the first time.

I know that the main jet is on the solenoid. I am thinking about taking the end with the jet and screwing in into the carb and then putting a plug. That way the jet is in there and the fuel won't leak out the fuel bowl.I think the plug has to have a passage way for the fuel to get to the jet. if anyone knows of an easier way, I would appreciate the information. JD dealer said they could sell me a solenmoid for $225.00. Pass on that.
