Ole Cmore developed a "clunk" in the transmission/rear end area while cultivation yesterday. What's the best option...take off the top cover of transmission and see whats up? It doesn't do it all the time, just sporatically...thanks, Cmore

Check all wheel mounting and axle clamps befor being depressed.
If the sound is once per wheel rotation, it could be that (common)
If it is more like engine speed, or 10 times wheel speed. it could be in the trans. There is an aluminum oil slinger that is known to be problematic. Jim
