the seal on the lift all pump and the trany are leaking oil at a steady pace. is it possible to replace the seal on the pump without removing it? also the seal on the tranny? an old timer told me the seals thread in and one has reverse threads, he wasnt sure which one. any help is appreciated.

The drive and driven yoke are both threaded onto the shafts. Both are right hand thread. They can be replaced with the pump still in the tractor but room is a bit limited. The biggest problem may be to get the yoke off the pump shaft. Sometimes you have to remove the pump from the Lift-All housing to be able to keep the shaft from turning so you can remove the yoke.
