300U has lost rear hydraulic power

My rear hydraulics have amost now power now. It can barely lift my brush hog up. When I first got the tractor about 5 years ago it had enough down pressure to lift the rear tires off the ground. The hydraulic fluid is at the full level.
What should I be looking at for this problem? thanks for any help you can give me.

You will not like this, but it might be the screen in the hyd tank under the seat. You will need a new gasket to get to it. Just hope it has not been sucked closed. THAT COVER IS HEAVY.
If it's ok...check the pump.

I would replace the filter and clean the filter screen as a start. You could have a partially plugged open relief valve. Maybe the one on the block attached to the under seat rock shaft housing. Pull the cover and you can clean the sludge in the bottom as well. Go easy with a putty knife to lift the cover and you can probably save the gasket. I've had mine off a few times and reused the same gasket.
