H Carb Bolt

I decided to rebuilt my carb over the weekend and I realized that the front bolt that attached the upper an lower halves is missing. the two rear ones are still intact. Before I put it back together, does anyone know what size and length I need?

(quoted from post at 06:17:08 07/06/10) I believe all three are the same size.
12x24x7/8"

12x24x7/8" is correct but you will probably not find the 7/8" length. Just get a 1" length and hack-saw off about 3 or 4 threads.

Yep do as Rusty says but be sure you get a nut or 2 with the bolts so before you hack saw the end off you put 1 or 2 of the nuts on. Do that and then removing them helps clean up the treads so it will then screw in easier

Try the 1 inch. Put the washer on it and screw it in. The threaded hole is probably deeper than 7/8.
If the 1" bolt is too long you know what to do.

Yes, Fastenal has them. That's where I get mine, but they come in either 3/4" or 1" lengths. I buy them 100 at a time.

Quick and easy if you have a wire stripper/crimper tool they usually have 3 holes for nipping screw for panel boxes!!!!!
