Farmall H mud scraper

Any body have a pic of a factory mud scraper. Did IH make one? I have only seen 2. One has a flat piece of bar stock bolted to the lower bolster, on a horizontal plane, with 2 pieces welded on, a vertical plane, and sweeping back around each tire. The other one was made out of what looked like about 3' of 1 1/2"x3/8" bar stock and is one continuous piece. It's looped, on a vertical plane, around the from front to back with the 2 mounting bolts/washers coming in from the bottom. It then flares up about 8" and then out.
Which one is original?
If I had more snap I'd have taken a picture with my phone. The older I get the more I forget.

Dean, I've seen those front wheel mud scrappers on several narrow front H's and M's but don't know if they were factory or aftermarket supplier made. I looked in the attachments section of my Farmall H TC-27E Parts Catalog and they are not listed as a factory provided option where other more well known items are shown. Not much help to you but nothing in IH print to indicate they could have been ordered or obtained later through an IHC dealership as a factory item, Hal.

Here's a pic of what I have on my H. I too have heard that most of these were aftermarket items. I know on this one there were no part numbers or any IH stamp to indicate it is factory.

I have one for my 300. If I remember I will get a picture of it tonight. The only thing that makes me think they may have been an option from factory (atleast on the 00's) is that there is a threaded hole on the front and back of the bottom of the bolster. Fits like a glove for the scraper to bolt to.
