I need to find a drawbar and associated parts to fit my 46 M. will either an M or H drawbar fit and work well and sugestions where to find one.

Try Steel Wheel Ranch, they'll probably have either new or used . Easy Bob's Tractor Parts should have new. If you're going to "Historic Farm Days" in Penfield, IL this week Easy Bob will be set up there.

Never tried H to M swap but have 460 drawbar (horseshoe part only) on my M and 460 is supposed to be same size chassis as H.

The horse shoe and the axle brackets will interchange from an H to an M although the later Ms used a thicker material. The swinging drawbars will NOT interchange from an H to an M.

I use a complete M hitch set up on my H because I pull a heavy pull type beater. Seems I had to tweak the draw-bar in the press a little bit to make it line up underneath the horseshoe. Mark

CNKS No offense, I think the C has a different axle (hex) and is not the same. H on up can work, but the H system is thinner of material both in the "U" and the drawbar as well. The pivot pins are also different as are the cast pivot mounting bracket. Jim

Due to the hex shaped axle housings, the C requires different axle clamps. The axle clamps are used with multiple equipment. But given the right clamps, the drawbars from the larger tractors will bolt right on (as will the drawbar from an F-12).
