Thank you to everyone who wrote back with all of my recent H mag posts and especially Janicholson. I did what you said with the cardboard and figured out I was about one tooth off from where I should have been. I got it lined up and began to have spark but then it still wouldn't run, so I cleaned out the fuel line and the carburetor and charged the battery so it would turn over faster and finally it began to run after being spun with the starter for 15 or 20 seconds. Once it began to run it has been doing fine, and once I put the hood back on I restarted it with the hand crank that I just got this week. It started on the first crank, which was a nice surprise. I will be baling hay with it tomorrow, or to be exact my sister will drive it while I stack the wagon. I am hoping that I am now over the hump with repairing this tractor, and once I get through with the hay I'll fix the charging system. Thanks again to everyone for all of the help.
