I'm no mechanic - and I haven"t had this thing very long. But.....Suddenly when I turn my tractor on it dumps what I believe to be gas from a pipe that extends out of the left side of the engine. included a link w/ some pics. I"m completely lost on this. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and/or how to fix it? I did just install a new fuel pump - don"t think that has anything to do with it though. Thanks in advance!!!

I will say if it the Crank Case Breather Tube shown, do not run the tractor at all.
The previous fuel pump may have been bad, and allowed a leaky diaphram to fill the crankcase with gasoline. This is not only explasive, but ruins the engine.
Drain the oil just a little and see if it smalls like gasoline, if so it needs to be changed right now.
Also always turn off the fuel valva at the tank to assure this never happens again. It is a standard operating policy with all these tractors. Jim
