does anyone know if there are any reproduction or NOS distallate manifolds availible? all i have seen are the top pieces. the one old stock manifold i saw they were asking $600 at RPRU. what about valves for the starting tank? i am needing both. thanks
 
Don't know about the manifolds but I certainly did see what I thought were some very nice starting tanks at this years RPRU. Was I missing something or were those in fact good ones? I thought those things were as rare as hen teeth but probably saw a dozen or more. Just curious and wish I could help more, Hal.
 
Bad news, no new ones out there. There are a lot of H distillate manifolds around but very, very few with a functional heat valve. Your best bet is trying to find a decent manifold with a rusted shut valve (usually around $50), drill/cut/chisel out the remains, find a NOS valve and make a new shaft. I have a distillate Super H which has an extremely rare manifold due to the larger carb mounting flange. The valve is the same part as on the H. I found a NOS valve so I know they exist. I got mine at www.littleredtractorco.com. Give it a shot, he may have another. As to the petcock for the tank, they have a distinct appearance and are not available in an exact reproduction but you can get a functional replacement at McMaster or similar places.
 
i don't need another tank as mine is already cleaned and lined just the valve. $110 is to much. VIN and RUSSELL. do your manifolds have any cracks? heat valve there, not broken off? shield nuts loose? thanks to replies
 
valve is stuck,studs are there,I have never seen a loose one,I think stiener had a two way gas valve or maybe OEM $75 for manifold
 
when you say the valve is there. is the handle still connected? also, the studs, are there nuts threaded on them, or just bare studs? if nuts are on them are they loose? was it off a running tractor? thanks, Stephen
