100 2-point fast hitch -- on line parts book ?

any one know of an on line parts book that would show the 2 point fast hitch option for a 100 ? I can only find the 1-point fast hitch in the Case-IH on-line book.

To the best of my knowledge the 100 was never available with a 2pt fast hitch, only the one point you've already found. The 200, 300, and 400 had 2 point systems. Sam

I've got one.

It must have been a dealer-equipment choice. I think in my life, I've seen 9-to-1 2-points over 1-point.

Many farmers around here shared 1 & 2 row tools where possible. My 200 with 2-pt fast hich tools will fit the 100 if the row spacings are modified. Dirt blade, drawbar, and a few other tools fit with no modifications or adjustments

Well, it's a new one on me, I didn't think there'd be enough width back there to sandwich it all in. Any chance of a picture? Thanks, Sam

Hard to find any information on these hitches. If was evidently only offered for the high clearance version of the 140. It is a rather limited capability hitch, with no draft control. I think it was only intended for use with the heavy toolbar which was common in cane fields. Attachment to the tractor was nearly identical to the earlier A-6 tool bar. Just imagine a Fast-Hitch socket in line on each of the pull bars for the A-6.

Here`s a link to a picture of my 140 Hi Clear with the 2 pt hitch. It`s pretty much as Jim says, made primarily for fast hitch cane bedder toolbars. My 140 HC came from sugar cane country (Bayou Goula, LA) equipped with the 2 pt hitch. Very few of my fast hitch implements would work very well if at all. The sockets are very high and won`t go low enough to even hitch up properly.
