International 444 Hydraulics

We have a gas International 444 tractor. We just replaced the filter under the steering wheel and the suction screen filter under the seat. What is happening is that after about 15mins the hydraulic oil gets so hot that the steering goes out and you could litteraly fry an egg on the metal hard lines coming to and from the pump. Anyone have an idea of what is going on? Is there a valve or something stuck that would heat up the hydraulic oil that much? We do have a rear and front set ( under the right foot rest) set of auxillary hookups. We currently are only using the rear for a round baler. Thanks for any info.

I also have a 444, mine is diesel, I learned the hard way about the hydralics. The owners manual mentions it but it is not stated as strongly as I think it should be.
When you are useing the remotes you have to shut the valve that is just below the front of the seat angled to the right.
I am assuming that your tractor also has 3 point hitch. International made these tractors (and most likely simular models) with this valve to somewhat isolate the 2 diffrent hydralic componets - 3 point hitch and hydralic remotes. So you have to use them as seperate systems using the same pump, resivor and filters.
