M narrow fronts

I am wondering are the spindles on the narrow fronts the same for the early and late cast centers? My 39 M has the late style centers and I want to get the right early style centers. I am going to paint it real soon and if they are the same I dont need to be in a hurry to find right centers. Thanks Paul

Look up the part numbers of the bearings and lower bolster. caseih.com select usa, then go to the top for search for parts, then start your search here. Put in M. and scroll down. Jim

The wheels will interchange I believe because the "later type" you refer to were actually options for the earlier models too, being adjustable width type with the companion rims with the riveted attaching lugs while the regular wheels were the non-adjustable type. The early models did have a little different lower bolster with a little less spindle set back and actually the upper bolster was a little different too. I guess the parts books might tell where the change was made.
