I finally get to the hayfield yesterday, make 7 or 8 rounds and promptly loose the pitman arm on my swather. :>(

Wife tells me that it was all my fault 'cause I didn't face east, fall to my knees, bow and chant a morning prayer. :>)

Can't even order the parts until tomorrow. Might have to dig that old 495 out of the weeds and use a tractor. Round and round and round. :>)

Oh well, that's what ya get when ya try to farm with junk. :>(

What's that field the tractor is sitting on? Was something taken off that already?
Is that your second cut on that alfalfa?

That's the other end of the same field. But, that picture was taken 4 years ago. The last time I used that New Holland pull behind.

Just got 'er all greased up and ready to go after dinner. That 12' cut is gonna seem awfully small. :>)

It'll probably take 3 or 4 days to get the parts for the Internationl; might as well be cuttin' hay in the meantime.

Is that a 1066 on the old 495??? Funny thing, I happen to have the same Haybine, and I was concerned that my 1066 was too big for it... Looks like if I have to use it, it should be fine ....
