Farmall C Cam Gear

I just bought a cam gear for a c and when I got it shipped to me one tooth is chiped my question is can it still be used?

I would only use it if the chip was less than 5 percent of the tooth. Then only if the chip was out of the main wear patch. I assume a used gear.
and the need to make it run. Otherwise get a different gear (and your money back) Jim

Did you contac the seller about the problem and what did he say.

When I rebuild an engine a chipped gear goes in the scrap metal pile.
I don't give them a second chance.

I have a core 113 engine, if ya give me a day or 2 I'll pull the timing cover and check out the gear. If it is good you can have it.
