Nice looking tractor. Looks like the push mower to the left could use a little bit of this tender loving care and little of the left over paint. Ha! Ha! It is amazing what a little TLC, time, and money will do to these old things.

What are you looking to achieve? What is your level of experience?

For simple, user-friendly, better-than-factory finish, go to your local CaseIH dealer and get a can of 2150 red.

Valspar Restoration Series IH Red is also very user-friendly IMHO, and WAS available from Tractor Supply. It may still be available by special order.

We use IH 2150 on all our tractors. After sand blasting we sand the sheet metal down with a fine grit to smooth it out even more. But its totally up to how you would like it to look.

Lead based enamel. Good stuff. Too bad the EPA outlawed it.
