Can anyone tell me what the clutch service tool that is cutrrently listed on ebay is used for?? Item number 290446827273
Never seen such an item and it belonged to a Farmall mech. Thanks in advance for your help.
 
It doesn't show the tool and only says spacers etc in a tray. The actual tool complete is a large round (like 20 inches) heavy plate with a three legged bridge and is used to disassemble , reassemble and adjust many clutches used on IH tractors and machines and includes a box of spacers and blocks for different clutches.
 
Sounds like he picked this tool up kind of like the auction sale at dealership where I worked most of my life. The guys that lined up sale had one part of a tool with this thing and another part of the tool with something else. Lot of guys that knew what went with what tried to get most of them in the right places but not all came together.
 
That is the part of the tool set used to adjust the clutch pressure plates. You also need the stand.
