farmall a noisy 3rd gear

my farmall a makes alot of noise in 3rd gear ..any options ????????

Heavier gear oil will quiet them down some, but straight cut gears tend to be noisy.

sorry its more then noisy sounds like its gonna come apart only in 3rd gear ..the guy i bought it from said that he welded the shifting forks or something like that ?
he also said it might need some more welding?

I'd pull the cover off of the transmission & have a look. You don't want to louse something up. Could have a bent fork & 2 gears might be clashing. Cover isn't hard to take off--just perimeter bolts--6 or 8 iirc.
