The plugs in my 1950 Super A are cork. I made a few replacement plugs from wine bottle corks. Cheap ;-)

My Holes are bigger than a wine cork. unless you by those big huge bottles...

i will double check though.

thanks

Joe

some hardware stores have an assortment of cork and rubber stoppers. Also the plastic shipping plugs for lines, pumps, and the like are functional although not original.
If you are stumped locally, try mcmaster carr online, as they seem to have everything.

If you are talking about the cork plugs they were just to keep dirt out of the threads. and paint. The hole doesn't go anywhere. You might try the craft dept at Wal-mart

If you refer to the fill hole and check hole (as well as the drain holes, they are common pipe plug thread sizes. Harrdware stores will have them! Jim
