Got a IH-140 has'nt ben started for a while, it has fire ,carb has gas, but plugs are dry, and wont start, 6 volt system. Any ideas welcome, points ok.
 
Hold your hand over the throat of the carburetor and see if there's good suction on your hand. If there's very little suction that's an indication of low intake manifold vacuum. Could be a leaky manifold gasket or rings may be stuck
on the pistons.

If you have good suction your carburetor may be gummed up from the old gas and probably needs to be soaked in carburetor cleaner and all the jets blown out with air. Hal
