super A light switch smokes when i turn lights on

I have double checked wiring, it is right. But, it seems the front right light is not making a good connections (when I wiggle it, it goes on and off), when it does go off, the switch starts smoking???? Any suggestions? It has new wires, all connectors are new and tight, heat shrinked, test light shows power etc.... where the light wire connects on back of light housing, is loose, light flicks on and off, I tightened it all up, and the smoking stops, what is causing it, please advise???

sounds like you got a hot wire touching a ground or is the switch the one that came on the A it could be bad or did you switch over to 12 volt and left everything 6 volt / if you are using 12 volt you need a voltage reducer I got mine with a 12 volt and it had one on it and i still use all the old switches but put 12 volt bulbs in Im sure that someone else will have some good input for you just backtrack and recheck everything good luck
