Brake bands on h

Do they only go on one way? If so, how do I tell which way they go on? I have them mounted, but I cant get the keyways to match up on the outside linkage.

It's been a bit but........ If I remember correctly, The band is universal direction. The "actuator" is the part that that can confuse U. Now Once again IIRC the lower pin goes "in" towards the "drum" the outer goes "out" forward. So it "cams" over and tightens.

Hopefully U can understand what I just typed.
