SOMETHING UNUSUAL

Morning All,
Last week was our annual vacation.
We spent the week on Cape Cod Mass.
What a beautiful place it is.
On our travels the kids wanted to play mini golf
We were staying in Truro Mass. We stopped at the
Red Barn Gift Shop on RT 6.
As we approached the golf area I spotted an old
Farmall tractor . When we started playing the tractor was a Farmall 100 in good shape. It was used as a obsticle on the putting area.
I really love the 100s and never got a colse up look at one now i did got hollered at for holding up the game.
Later on we came up on and old planter and a single bottom fast hitch plow as obsticles on
the course.
Cool use of old equipment and was well kept too.
Any one in the area seen these ?????
thanks
Harry

I stay on Cape Cod every year. I stay in West Yarmouth. Going to the cape in august. I'll check that out when I go to the east end of the cape. My daughters love mini golf and I like tractors so it sounds like something I will check out.
Thanks for the info.

That's an interesting concept. You could carry it a bit further and call it machinery golf or junk yard golf. Shoot the ball into a baler, cotton picker, cream separator, corn sheller, bottling conveyer, ditch digger. The possibilities are endless. Of course, safety would be a concern and the moving parts would have to be shielded with glass or screens. At the end you could shoot the ball into a potato gun and watch it fly a hundred yards. If it hits a target, you are in "jackpot city".

In Sutton MA (about 100 miles inland from Truro) on Purgatory Road (right before a nice State Park)is West End Ice Cream shop. Their mini golf course has an old H, plus same sort of old implements laying around. Its on an old dairy farm. They have a animal barn and still hay the fields around the place.
