What do I have for sure?????/Front Axle????

Hello,
I broke the front axle tube on my M and picked up an axle from a friend of mine but we are unable to determine what type of axle it is as I'm look for steering linkages etc. for it but I don't know exactly what type I should be looking for. the numbers stamped on the front axle tube are 5671-DA and it looks like the is an IHC logo on it as well. Any ideas?????

That part number is a front axle tube for a M. Do you have the clevis/pin type tie rod end? The drag link adjusting rod is 67956D, depending on the tractor serial no. and the steering rod is 40098DA.

google caseihparts/northamerica and with a little searching you can view the whole axle assembly with the part nos.

Would you (or anyone else) happen to know if these WFEs were also on the Super M's? I've an early Super M with this WFE and am looking for parts. Thanks, Roger

Thanks for the start on the part numbers I'll do some more digging on the IH website. The tube I picked up has everything attached to bolt up (along with the plate that bolts onto the frame) but is missing spindle on one side and no steering arms or linkages (if that's a word).?..

I'm sorry I can't help much on your question but there are a number of experts here that can. I know very little on the Wide/Narrow Transition etc.
