F-14 Farmall

The tractor that I "cut my teeth on" was a Farmall F-14, no one seems to know much about it. It ran on "tractor fuel"- had a little one gallon gas tank to get it warmed up with. Sure would like to have some information or a picture of one and how it compared to the more popular F-12

The F14 is the increased-power version of the F12. the 14 had increased engine rpm to generate the extra hp along with some head changes and a breather tube added to the valve cover. The most obvious difference was the addition of a knuckle to the steering shaft and a higher steering wheel height and angled shaft on the 14. The 12 had strait steering shaft, but IH had field improvement kits to add all these features to the 12.
F14s were available January 38 to April 39

Check the photo archives. Should be able to find one there.

Also, there are many books on the Farmall line. Check your local book store for further information.
