Cub Loboy Mower to Std Cub

I have a restored Sickle Bar Mower from a 67 Cub Loboy that is for sale. I have had a couple of guys wondering what mods would be required to mount it on a Standard Cub. Since I have no idea I thought someone here could shed some light on the issue. Thanks

It will hang on a Farmall Cub with no modifications.

The only problem you have is that the mower will want to hang level at 8" off the ground.

This is okay if you only want to mow 8" off the ground. If you lower it all the way to the ground, the angle will be too much and the mower will chatter badly.

A Farmall Cub mower would be a much better idea for them. There are plenty of people looking for sickle mowers for their Loboys. I'd be interested but I sold my Loboy here two weeks ago.

Just to add emphasis to what mkirsch said, cycle bar mowers for the Famall are pretty easy to find and there is almost always someone looking for one to put on a LoBoy. Mounting the mowers on the opposite version of the tractor is not satisfactory.

You need to find a buyer with a LoBoy and the guys with the Farmalls need to find the other model mowers. Both should be fairly easy to find.
