I was just reading a few old posts and then I thought of it!! Janicholson Service Manuals!! How about that for an idea?
Honestly Jim, with the wealth of information that you have on these old IH machines, you should really write a book. I think they would sell like hotcakes.....Or at least I would buy a few!! You manage to make complicated stuff sound like easy to follow directions. I don't know how you do it, but I'm sure glad you can!!

I'm sure that this comes from all the folks that you have helped by your participation in this site when I say, "Thanks a bunch!!!" Ya deserve it!

YT participants are, to me, a vital link to a reality that is positive, rewarding, and constructive. In a throwaway society we are not. My explanations come from being a good professor in a good university. I teach my students the foundations and basic theory such that they actually perform. As parts swapping became mechanics, as manufacturing was made a "lesser" profession, and as elecrtonics in technology labs became hard to find teachers for and died, I became resolute in holding on to real enablement in the classroom. This forum extends my classroom in a friendly direction. The pay is comments like this.
Thanks for your thoughts. Jim

go figure -- he not only can teach you how to USE a CNC machine, he probably could teach you how to MAKE a CNC machine !

I agree with the thread of this post --- look what we lost when Hugh passed ! Hopefully, YT Mag will keep them around and "alive" forever, and always able to "search" their thoughts !

So, YTMag operators -- can you modify SEARCH so we could, if desired, search Board-Farmall ; TOPIC -- Touch Control, 3 pt hitch, etc ; AUTHOR-Janicholson

I'm pretty well out in public, no problem. Born in Northern Indiana (close to Red Power this year, though I musty teach Summer School at that time)
I have teaching experience in Ohio, Arizona, California, Colorado, Montana, and Here in Minnesota. (See link below) I really enjoy the company here on what my wife calls the tractor channel. Jim
