I had my pump rebuilt and set up a couple years ago by a diesel guy, it was runnning 2350-2400 don't know how much hp. After reading some where on the net
i decided to mess with the main screw under the cover I turned clock wise 1/4 turn. When i started it only ran 2000rpms. Did i do someing wrong. I know you can andvace timing. I just wanted a little more now i'am over my head.

What are you planning to do with this tractor? Why do you want the extra HP.? I think that 2400 RPM"s is what the D282 turns when it is installed in the 660 but in that application it has a bigger radiator and mabey a few other modifcaions. Ask the Tractor Vet in the above post. IMHO you don"t want to turn up the rpm"s without the 660 upgrades and I don"t they are aviable for the 560. Armand
