560D ROOSAMASTR I did someing wrong?

I had my pump was rebuilt and set up a couple years ago by a diesel guy, it was runnning 2350-2400 don"t know how much hp. After reading some where on the net
i decided to mess with the main screw under the cover I turned clock wise 1/4 turn. When i started it only ran 2000rpms. Did i do someing wrong. I know you can andvace timing. I just wanted a little more now i"am over my head.

Turn the screw counter-clockwise 1/4 of a turn, put the cover back on, and leave it alone... That's the best advice I can give.

This is precisely why diesel mechanics are generally very hesitant to give out their secrets. Without the proper knowledge and equipment, the chances of getting yourself into trouble are very high.

Well ya done messed up and a 560 was not meant to twist that high in the first place .
